What payment methods are accepted?

The fastest and most secure way to pay is online at www.sothebys.com/my-account or use the Sotheby’s mobile app.

Invoices and payments must be in the name of the registered bidder, whether an individual or a third party. The bidder's name must match the name on the invoice and payment method used. This is a standard practice to ensure proper tracking and ownership of the items being sold.

To avoid fees, opt for our ACH/SEPA/BACS payment methods.

New York

US Bank Account / ACH	$1,000,000 per payment. No fee. ACH payments have a 5 business day clearance period.
Cards	$200,000 invoice. 2.5% surcharge + applicable sales tax for credit card transactions.
